Out and Look at Museet for Fotokunst
Major retrospective exhibition featuring works by Danish photographer Viggo Rivad

This summer, Viggo Rivad will be celebrating his 90th birthday with  an extensive exhibition  titled Out & Look at Museet for Fotokunst. Throughout his career, Rivad has - somewhat misleadingly - been called a social realist. He is much more than that. Through his photographs and his journeys he has strived to get close to people. His pictures always contain the question : What does it mean to be a human being? What constitutes a life? What do people everywhere have in common? Rivad´s  lens captures stories about life and the conditions of life - abroad as well as in his home city of Copenhagen.
