John Kørner creates images that show us the world not as it looks in reality, but how it feels inside as feelings, thoughts and perceptions.

John Kørner is one of the most remarkable artists in Denmark today. The exhibition in thePillarHallatBrandtsisatotalinstallation of his latest works. Installed as illuminated fields of colour in an otherwise dark and shapeless space, the images combine to tell a cohesive story. Here, John Kørner’s solitary figures appear in dreamlike and silent landscapes – perhaps these landscapes are the future ruins of the world’s great cities?
